"I mostly use ACDSee to pull..."
I mostly use ACDSee to pull photos off my SD cards and keep my folders somewhat organized. The import usually works fine, but, uh, setting up presets and choosing destinations feels more confusing than it should. I also had to redo my tags twice, which got annoying.
The cataloging is helpful once it finally catches up, but scanning larger folders can take a while. It’s not a bad program overall, just feels a bit clunkier and less smooth than I was hoping for.

"Refund was sorted out quickly"
I had a small billing mix-up, but support took care of it without making things complicated. The refund came through fast too, which is all you can really ask for when something like this happens

I was surprised by how quickly the AI cleanup worked. I used to spend extra time fixing little things myself, but now you just run it and it cleans things up fast. It’s been a real time-saver for me.

"Pretty good, even if the bugs get on my nerves"
I use ACDSee a few times a week mostly for sorting photos and doing quick edits. I don’t really want to oversell it, but it usually gets the job done and it’s faster than I expected most of the time.
That said, it definitely has its little annoyances. Sometimes thumbnails don’t refresh right away, and every now and then the app hangs for a bit like it’s thinking way too hard. It doesn’t happen constantly, but it happens enough that I notice.
I’m still giving it 4 stars because, grudgingly, it does what I need it to do. The bugs are irritating, sure, but not bad enough to make me stop using it...

"Surprisingly easy to figure out"
I expected acdsee to be one of those programs where you open it, stare at the screen, and immediately question your life choices. But nope, it was actually smooth. The main tools were right where I figured they’d be, which was a nice change from the usual software treasure hunt.
It took me maybe a day or two to feel comfortable using it, and I didn’t have to spend half my week watching tutorial videos just to crop something. I’m still picking up a few things here and there, but overall the learning curve has been really manageable

"Pricing felt straightforward"
The plans and upgrade costs were easy to find, and there weren’t any weird surprises at checkout, which I really appreciated. I’m taking off one star because there were "so many options" that it took a little extra time to decide

"Pretty easy to get the hang of"
I started using acdsee without really reading much, and I figured my way around it fast. Uploading, organizing, and editing my photos is simple, and the menus make sense. There’s not too much clicking around or digging through settings. It just does about what I need without making things complicated.
"I’ve been using Acdsee for my photo folders..."
I’ve been using Acdsee for my photo folders for a bit now, and the main thing I notice is that it doesn’t give me problems. It opens quick, handles big batches without acting weird, and it hasn’t frozen on me like a couple other programs I tried before.
I’m mostly just sorting photos and doing quick edits, nothing too serious or anything. But so far, no random crashes, no missing changes, none of that annoying stuff. It’s just solid, which is kind of all I was hoping for.
"Color tools are kind of a pain"
I gave acdsee a try mainly for color correction, it was a bit frustrating. The sliders feel clunky, and the final colors never looked quite right to me. It’s not awful by any means, but for what I needed, it just didn’t feel worth the extra time and effort.

"I’ve been using ACDSee to find photos..."
I’ve been using ACDSee to find photos, and the search is actually helpful when it cooperates. But is it just me, or do the filtering options feel a little clunky? I sometimes end up clicking around more than I expected just to narrow things down. It’s not a bad tool overall, I just wish the everyday filtering process felt a bit smoother.

"The keyword tagging is so easy to..."
The keyword tagging is so easy to use, it almost feels like magic. I used to waste so much time on this stuff, and now it’s done in no time. it saves me an absurd amount of stress and makes my workflow feel a million times smoother.

"The interface could use a refresh"
The app works, but the interface feels outdated. You’d think the main tools would be easy to spot, but I had to click around more than expected just to find basic stuff.

"Good app, but it makes my laptop struggle sometimes"
Acdsee has been good for organizing and looking through my photos, and I felt a little embarrassed at first thinking maybe I just had too many messy folders or was doing something wrong. But whenever I open a bigger folder, my laptop fan kicks on like it’s about to take off, and everything starts feeling slower than I’d like.
I still use it because it does the basic photo stuff well enough, but I do wish it wasn’t so heavy on system resources. It’s fine overall, just maybe not the best fit if you’re using an older computer like I am.

"Duplicate finder is just okay"
I tried the duplicate finder and it did catch some files, but it also missed a bunch that I know were there. It took longer than I expected too, so the whole thing felt a bit frustrating. I’ll give it another shot, but if it keeps working like this, I’ll probably start looking for a different tool...
"Way More Useful Than I Expected"
I started using acdsee mainly because I needed something to help organize and do basic edits on my photos, but it’s ended up being a lot more complete than I thought it would be. The organizing tools are solid, and things like batch renaming, tagging, and RAW editing are all built in, which was a nice surprise. There was a bit of a learning curve at first since some options weren’t exactly where I expected them to be, but after poking around for a while it started to click. Overall, it does pretty much everything I need and then some.

I was just trying to get it installed and moving on with my day but the installer froze on me twice and I had to keep restarting it which got frustrating fast.

The docs and videos helped me learn acdsee quickly. I didn’t feel too lost. Some parts could be explained better. But overall, they made the tools much easier to figure out.

"Kinda surprised by how fast it is"
I’ve been using ACDSee to sort and edit my photos, and it’s been kinda great so far. Big folders open really quickly, and it doesn’t freeze up like a few other apps I’ve tried. It makes going through a ton of pictures way less of a headache. Happy with it overall.

"I mostly use ACDSee to sort through my..."
I mostly use ACDSee to sort through my photo folders and clean up metadata, and it’s been reeeally solid for that.
Adding keywords, ratings, and categories is quick, and I love that I can update a bunch of files at once without things turning into a mess. It also picked up my older tags just fine, which was a huuuge plus for me.
It’s maybe not the flashiest-looking app out there, but it does exactly what I need and saves me a loooot of time.

"The license terms were actually easy..."
The license terms were actually easy to understand, and the subscription worked without any problems. It took me a minute to figure out the device limits, but it wasn’t a big deal in the end.
